My name is Marek Tkaczyk and I created GOOD MORNING, EARTH! in 2020 in order to support Face To Face With The World - an international charitable organization.
Initially the main idea was to link schools and teachers from various developed countries with poor schools and orphanages in Africa and Asia and help them organize shared online classes.
However, as soon as those joined classes took off and started spreading all around the world, I quickly realised that apart from their educational and cultural aspects, there's much more that can be done so that I can proudly call it Help With A Capital 'H'.
The genuine ideas and solutions presented on this website are extremely easy to implement in any school on our planet, yet unique and highly beneficial to all parties involved.

GOAL AND MISSION
The technology that has arrived on our doorstep in the recent years has made our lives much easier in many ways. We can now learn and provide ourselves with entertainment without leaving our houses. It has also given us the tools and endless possibilities to bring help to those, who can't and will never afford such opportunities. Therefore, the main idea and mission behind GOOD MORNING, EARTH! is to share what we usually take for granted with people who find it invaluable. The gift of knowledge is more than often grater than anything else we can share with others. Nevertheless, the gratefulness and fulfillment we receive in return seems to have even grater value. It adds a new meaning to what we do, what kind of people we are, how we see the world around us and how we feel in general. Let alone th cultural awareness and lessons in empathy that we receive. |
THE PROJECTS INSIDE THE PROJECT
Initially I planned to cooperate with public primary schools and private language schools and focused on English language classes. However, it quickly turned out that there are different kinds of schools and teachers of various subjects out there, who can support the programme. Hence I decided to encourage everyone who can share any kind of knowledge, experience or values (musicians, artists etc.) to join us. There are countless ways in which you can support this programme. This simplified list of possibilities can always be extended by your own ideas: - ONE-OFF OR REGULAR CLASSES done either just by you as a teacher or by running a shared class for students from both schools. You decide whether you'd just like to experience it once or stay with us for longer! |
- INTERCONTINENTAL SCHOLARSHIPS - in some schools and orphanages there are individual students who are for example older than everyone else and don't benefit that much from group classes with their younger classmates. You can add them to your regular online classes or have one-to-one lessons with them. They can join those classes occasionally or regularly.
- INTERNATIONAL TUTORING PROJECT - in every country there are students who really need some additional support with various subjects they learn at school. There are also big-hearted teachers all around the world who are more than happy to sacrifice one or two hours per week on charity work. I connect those students and teachers online and the money that those students would normally pay to the teacher is transferred directly to the place in need (orphanage, school or family) chosen by the teacher. This way all 3 parties benefit from the idea: the student gets the support he needs, which he or she will happily pay for. The teacher has a chance to contribute to charity by giving some of their precious time instead of their money. And the orphanage, school or family chosen by the teacher receive regular funds. Simple & beautiful!
- STORIES THAT HELP - this project is a real gem! Professionally trained African teachers conduct classes during which they pre-teach vocabulary & phrases, play games to help students acquire new language, read an illustrated story and finally use interactive games & quizzes to check how much everybody remembers. In return for such class the teacher either gets paid by the school or by students who collect funds. This way people in need get trained and work instead of reaching out their hands for money.
